They are easy enough to find by heading to the North from Rocko. When you have the beacons it is time to place them. Turn around and plant the first only a little ways to the South. The first is planted just a little to the North of the Vending machines.
The second Beacon needs to be placed South of the Vending Machines between the barrels. The final one is placed shortly inside Bloody Knuckle Point. First Wave With the final beacon placed head over to the North and man the turret that is sitting just North of where you placed the final beacon. As you approach the turret the waves will commence.
This will get a Goliath who seems to lose their helmet very quickly. Use this turret as long as possible. After the first few waves a wayward rocket will come and destroy the turret. Enjoy the unlimited ammo to destroy as many Loaders as you can.
This makes the time after the turret a lot easier. Just be careful of the Goliaths. This time, however, the opponents come in more variations and are more powerful.
This will also end the Borderlands 2 Defend Slab Tower side mission, and we can focus other tasks we can complete in Borderlands 2. About The Author. I feel like this mission should be skipped under all circumstances in every playthrough because it's not worth spending all your money on respawns for.

I've always had best luck placing Goliaths in first area so thier helmets can get knocked off and they can go on a rampage making them chase the enemies all the way to the last area. I place the Psychos in the middle area because they have the biggest line of sight so are most likely to leave thier area to help out in the surrounding areas.
I then place the marauders in the last section, mainly because they're the least beneficial in the previous two areas. So they're mainly just there as distraction for the baddies while the beserking Goliaths, Psychos and I sweep in for the rescue. Originally posted by NewTroll :. Diogenes49 View Profile View Posts. The big problem is that there is no significant reward for this mission, the first time I completed it I couldn't even open the loot chest at the end.
