Fortunately, it turns out it is a Siri issue and not a G90 issue. On the way to work, I turned off Bluetooth and found using Siri completely through my phone that I got the same behavior when attempting to send a text message. So, I suspect the Clearing my "Siri and Dictation history" which is an option under "Siri and Search" seems to have helped some and I can send texts, but it still is buggy and not speaking my full messages back but does show it all in text on the phone screen, oddly or getting the wrong person despite annunciating.
