Why do we cherished memories




















That was one of my moments to cherish forever. It doesn't matter how long you wait to meet a childhood hero, because the moment will be just as exciting. Memories will be good for the kids and grandkids, especially. Many families want to know family history. Great photo of you with James Drury.

Memories are special and it is so lovely when we can record them by writing them down and by photographs that help to keep the memory so fresh. Thanks for adding your memories to your comment, christin I know the next generation will enjoy seeing our pictures we take today and want to know anything special we can recall about these pictures. The bad thing associated with digital pictures is many people fail to print them on paper.

I try to at least print my favorites to save as a hard copy. Memories are very precious and I love this new digital age where we can take instant photos and film.

Two of my most precious is filming my daughter on her graduation day and my sons wedding. I think in years to come when they have children of their own they will love to see that.

A rest that unfortunately will last for eternity. Even though sadness was a major factor on that day, memories of better and more peaceful times were. Maitland Knutsen was once a friend but will always be a memory. Some of the fondest memories from my childhood involve Maitland. We enjoyed many summers filled with great adventures. Her friendship meant more than she could know to me and taught me that friendship can be found in ways we never once knew. Maitland, a childhood friend, has had a lasting impression on my memory of the past. The greatest of friends can be found right down the road.

Similarly, a tragic episode from your childhood may be what inspired you to do better. For example, maybe you were terrified of being in the pool as a child.

This fear stayed with you for a good portion of your life and was eventually what drove you to learn how to swim and overcome your fear. Childhood memories shape our lives in the subtlest of ways. Your childhood experiences also help you develop character and become your own person. The things you learn as a child stay with you for long after and have a big impact on you.
