User Info: Dragonas User Info: blade The Magneton will evolve into a Magnezone. If you level up Magneton in Chargestone Cave, it will evolve into Magnezone. The same goes for Nosepass into Probopass. In any case Magnezone is a strong Special Attacker and evolves at really good times during the game, so if your team synergizes well then Magnezone is definitely worth it.

How to catch? Magneton can be evolved at Mt. Magneton was the only evolution for years. Then enter a cave at the end of the canyon and level up your Magneton in the next area.

From a competitive standpoint Electivire is much better. Luxray is terribly slow and has an abysmal movepool. Electivire is much more versatile and has a very nice ability if you can switch him in on an electric attack. Luxray and Electrivire are both good electric pokemon for physical electric attacks like Thunder Fang, but I would go with Zapdos, Jolteon, or Magnezone for special attacks like Thunder and Thunderbolt.
