Nothing cave like. Comment by snomor He is inside the Wintergarde Mausoleum same area where you get the quest , when you go straight down inside the room with the gnomes, he's to the right. He is inside a little cave which is not shown on the mini-map.

It's remnds me of the RavenHill Cemetary area in Darkshire, inside the mausoleum there which has a back route to the other mausoleum on the other side. Hope that helps more. I want you to head down those steps and head straight through the embalming chamber and look for Plunderbeard. Dead or alive, he'll have answers. They drag corpses through the tunnel to the embalming room for experimentation.

There is an endless supply in this mausoleum. Whatever cannot be reanimated is turned into a bone construct of one kind or another. I fear this lich , Thel'zan, hides a dark secret.
